What is this plant?

Can someone tell me what this is please?  It came up from nowhere and I can’t work out if I planted it years ago but it has grown so quickly I think a weed. However has nice pink flowers?

thanks

It's valerian. It's only a weed if it's in the wrong place. I like them so I encourage them in my garden.

    Centranthus ruber

Great at spreading itself around due to fluffy seeds which float on the breeze.
It grows wild but lots of us grow it in our gardens too.

I love this plant, it's great for attracting the hummingbird hawk moth.
