It doesn't matter what variety it is - they generally like a site out of morning sun, with some reasonable shade , especially from midday sun. Morning sun is a pest when buds are about to flower, and they get frosted as that destroys them. If it's staying potted, it'll need a soil based medium - not just compost, and appropriate water and drainage. A suitable feed every so often as well. It's always worth mulching with something like chipped bark, which helps retain moisture, and also breaks down well over time.
