Leaf gall on damson tree?

Hi, I believe this might be leaf gall on my damson tree? Can anyone confirm that and is there anything I can do about it? I’ve been trying to let nature deal with it, hoping that some

insect or bird might eat what’s causing it. However it’s getting much worse.

I don’t think they’re causing major problems … I’d leave it be.

Hi, many thanks for the prompt response and the link which has good advice. I’ll give the tree some additional feed to help with the stress and then monitor early spring next year to see if I can identify the culprit.
