Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
Wild hyacinth according to www have open starry flowers .
This mystery one definitely had small bell shape flower.

One I know well...the hybrid bluebell.
But sadly no narrow leaves in the flower heads.
They show up quite clearly in my pic.
Flowers look completely normal...just a very pale blue and rather dainty.
The lady who owns the garden had masses of rare/unusual plants.
A positive treasure trove.
Maybe I will need to send her a snail mail letter.
Found it by searching Hyacinthoides RARE!
Hyacinthoides non scripta bracteata
Comes in white as well.
I thought it was most unusual and attractive.
Quote www.....
"Hyacinthoides non scripta alba bracteata is white flowered with a pair of long whiskery bracts alongside each flower node. A quirky oddity."
