Elaeagnus yellow falling leaves

Hello I just got 3 elaeagnus ebbingei gilt edge bushes in terracota pots a couple of weeks ago. A couple of days ago the leaves have started yellowing and falling, especially the inner leaves. The soil seems moist so I dont think they lack water. I am adding some pictures. Please help as they were a considerable cost and I really like them
