    Good point. I've ordered some 1mm (hole) netting, I know smaller birds and fledglings might get their claws tangled so I'll keep a watch for any danger there. I'm hoping the nets can come off once the seedlings are established. At the moment I've put the hoops back with fleece over until the net arrives, think it's needed today as it's cold, windy and dull here. 

    Investigated the 'damage' further this morning and it's worse than I thought, at least the 16 sweetcorn stalks are untouched. Going to sow more carrots and beans today.

    I've a plan to 'rebuild' the veg patch with better raised beds, area is tiny at roughly 2mx5m - but it's enough to satisfy my interest and provide fresh veg for a few months, it should be easy enough to build in a cage then of some sort. 

    Trying to be the person my dog thinks I am!

    Pigeon breast is lovely as are my veggies.
    That's all i'm saying.
