    It’s one of the many types of Shield Bug. Love them. Fascinating creatures. 
    Someone will know which one it is …. @wild edges maybe?

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    I have seen green ones before - they seemed to want to be inside as summer faded last year.

    This "camouflage" one is the first one I have seen like that. It actually "jumped" on the back of my neck when I was moving pot plants from the shed to get some outdoor light.  :)
