Geranium ID

PerkiPerki Posts: 2,527
Been garden centre this morning had a mad dash round before it got to busy and picked up 2 Geranium Macrorrhizum Bevan's variety. After bring them home and having a closer look I am sure they are not a Geranium Macrorrhizum species they look more like a Sanguineum  type. Any one got any Macrorrhizum to compare they no flowers on it but a old flower . These are for a very dry area at the base of some leylandii so must be right .

@Perki They are 100% Sanguinium wrongly labelled.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

100% not macrorrhizum but the leaves top right look less like sanguineum

I thought as much how annoying, it were the two labels on each pot saying geranium macrorrhizum which had me doubting myself
