Newly planted Apricot and Peach in trouble.

These two planted about 7-8 weeks ago. Going good but
1.. I noticed today that something is cutting the new shoots of Apricot.
2. Peach have leaves curled up and discoloured.
Pictures attached.
Guidance, advice and solution will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Looks like peach leaf curl. We planted one peach that was resistant to the curl. No it isn't and has done really badly over the years and will eventually be taken out. Not sure if apricots also suffer the same way. When you say cutting into the apricot could it be pigeons after the new young shoots?

Looks like they are tasted by the pigeons.
Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)

Peach leaf curl will kill the tree eventually if not managed. You need to keep muslin draped over it to divert rain from the leaves.

The pigeons though don't touch the apples or pears. However looking at some of the apple trees yesterday they are showing signs of small clusters of leaves curling up. We have put this down to lack or rain. These trees in our orchard aren't watered by us as they have been in situ for many years now so they have to make do unfortunately.
@JoyceGoldenlily our peach tree is far too big to put muslin over.
