Camassia white

Why do my camassia plants go light brown at bottom of flower quite quickly after flowing. Watered and fed.

It's just how they grow. The flowers die off and go brown - same as many other plants.
It's often just more noticeable with white flowers  :)
Feeding isn't needed if the soil's right, and if you really feel the need to feed, it's better to do it when they're dying back - the same as any other bulb  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

This happens before they come into full flower within days.  It does not happen on other bulbs so quickly.  But thank you for your comments.

They might be too dry then. They need to be in consistently moist soil.  :)
Many plants shed buds/flowers quickly if they're under stress, and that can be for various reasons, but often it's when they're too dry.
