Mystery eggs on peas

DevrimDevrim Posts: 13
Hi everyone

Spotted a few clumps of small cream coloured eggs on my pea leaves today. Any ideas what this could be? I've got green aphids on the peas but their eggs look different. So far they're not causing too much trouble but Im worried about what this newcomer might be!

Thanks a lot!

    Those look like butterfly eggs.

    Seconded - butterfly eggs.

Green shield bug would be my guess.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

They are butterfly eggs ,be careful that the * babies* don’t eat your plants

If they hatch into caterpillars, blue tits love them to feed babies with. I doubt they will cause much trouble.

I also think their one of the shield bugs, although I wouldn't want to guess which one.
