Mellow Yellow

Dear  Members.

I have been asked to identify this yellow bush, looks like gorse, but I suspect not.
Taken this week.
All tips gratefully appreciated.

    One of the brooms - ie Cytisus  :)
    Lots of varieties. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    If it was growing wild then it will be Cytisus scoparius...common name broom.
    It is looking quite magnificent up here just now.

    As is the  very prickly Ulex europeaus...common name Gorse.
    I have never seen it so heavy with flowers.
