    Luckily, @floralies, there are one or two French seed sites.  Not a lot of unusual varieties of veggies on sale as plants round here.

  • Like the look of your recipe for the cheesecake Dovefromabove it’s in my book to do next week . Not enough Philadelphia cheese in the fridge at the moment so  will do a few batches of Pumpkin soup tomorrow . This is our other Pumpkin OH grew on top of our compost heap , like chalk and cheese but gratefully received from our garden.

    My pumpkin was carved (had a further neaten-up since this photo), the seeds roasted (they weren’t great so the birds and squirrels had those) and the flesh was added to roast veg mix. 
    My garden and I live in South Wales.
