I'm wondering if people could please offer any advice as to the best weedkiller which doesn't contain glyphosate?

Many thanks

    "non toxic weedkiller" ?
    Surely that's an oxymoron?

I've not bought any for a couple of years, and all new stock was without glyphosate. I never use anything but Resolva, as it was always the most reliable, but I rarely use it anyway.
The new one has a horrible smell, and doesn't work so quickly, but it's ok if you can't reach weeds to dig them out for any reason.

Thankfully I still have quite a large stock of glyphosate based weedkiller.  After a year and a half of not being able to do anything in the garden, my only effective route is to spray much of it, kill off the weeds which have totally taken over, and start again.

    I'm doing exactly the same.
I've lifted lots and put in B&Q plastic buckets, so I can treat any bindweed coming up in them, and spray the near empty borders

though you need to wear hazmat suit to
use it in sprayer because it will burn your skin.
it has no long term effect on planting things there.

Am I alone in not understanding why Glyphosate is so demonised?

    I'm not keen.
Haven't there been links made between Glyphosate and Non Hodkins Lymphoms?
