Help/advice with my Senetti

I recently purchased a senetti, I quickly realised upon seeing many others online, mine is missing a lot of its foliage. I water it regularly, in this warm weather daily, and it’s still not grown any leaves. It just looks leggy and bare beneath the flowers despite the flowers looking healthy. It’s since been deadheaded and been little change. Hope someone can help.
