Is this a Foxglove?

  • @Beany1971 I can’t say what it is, but my foxgloves don’t look like this plant.

    I don't think it's a foxglove. It looks more verbascum-ish to me. Maybe one of the forms of V. chiaxii, but there are lots of hybrid ones.
    Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

     No, not a foxglove. Don’t know what is is though. 
    Carmarthenshire (mild, wet, windy). Loam over shale, very slightly sloping, so free draining. Mildly acidic or neutral.

    Thanks @Simone_in_Wiltshire, @JennyJ, @Emerion, @nutcutlet looking at a video of the garden from last year I can see it’s a Verbascum now, Verbascum Clementine I think it’s the only one I’ve bought!
