They need to have consistently enough damp soil if you're considering getting some @sunshine in the garden. Damp, semi shade is the best site for them. I only grow the whites, as I don't like blue, and they're just starting to flower. I love them, but they're very messy when dying back - lots of substantial foliage, so bear that in mind too if you want them
