    Top one is forget-me-not.
Don't know about the bottom one, but there's an awful painting of them in my dentists reception - they're pretty in real life! 😁

The 2nd one could be a Japanese azalea, but the photo isn't great.
Forget me nots are weeds to me  ;)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Not to me, I like Forget-me-nots. They look good with tulips. They aren't weeds.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Forget-me-not - lovely, but they do self-seed profusely and then die messily (they're biennial) and it's a bit of a chore pulling them all out when they finish flowering.
I think the shrub might be an escallonia (there are several red varieties) but I'm not getting a good sense of the scale - perhaps the flower nearest the camera is very close-up. Or a single-flowered azalea.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

They start their short lives as wildflowers and end them as weeds.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

"A weed is plant in the wrong place".

Don't know who originally said that but they're probably working with the RHS now  B)

Sun was out today and it bloomed.
