Prospects for these aquilegia

Hello, I'm not sure what to do with these seedlings. They took ages to germinate ate have missed this year's flowering period right? If I plant them out are they likely to flower next year? Info online isn't clear to me :)

    They never flower the first year. Prick them out individually into 3 inch (7cm) pots of compost, grow them on until the roots fill the pots. Plant them out where you want them to flower 30cm ( a foot) apart. They will die down over winter and flower this time next year.
