2 Japanese azalea red both planted in the same compost,any ideas please?

    Thank you,I'll have a read of that. I'm just feeling my way as not really done much in the way of gardening.

    The Japanese azaleas actually like a fair bit of sun, so they're slightly different from the others, but you can have them in shadier spots too. Obviously, if you're in one of those very hot areas of the country, it would be better to avoid full on sun for hours, so a semi shaded spot will be better.  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    I think like most plants they can be grown successfully in pots I have rhododendrons but not azaleas. Get the biggest pots possible always and use the right soil, place in the optimum position and feed and water appropriately. 
    @Fairygirl knows her stuff so any advice she gives is very good. Her advice saved my little acer that was in too sunny a spot and is now beautiful.

    Here's a couple of pics from my garden, only planted earlier this year.
    Not the tidiest looking just yet but only moved in at the end of October,so a work in progress as well as a learning curve 🙂
