They are very pretty, bright and cheerful. However. once you have them they will spread until you have masses...and masses I refuse to allow them any where near my garden.
Yes - they're probably invasive in many places @Silver surfer. I regularly pull the seedlings out if they're where I don't want them! Fortunately, I have a lot of purple and white planting, so they're a great accompaniment to that. They're also useful for covering bare ground as it prevents the 'you know whats' cr***ing there.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
