Compost Bins - Siting

Afternoon,
My compost bins back on to (currently) small shrubs - willow fedge and beech hedge.  Should I be worried about roots coming up eventually? Know the willow can get quite vigorous... thank you.

What plant could resist the lure of a buffet on its doorstep? If that is the only place that you can site compost heaps then I think you have to expect a bit of pilfering from the shrubs planted nearby. I suspect that a fig tree is currently leeching off my compost piles but that is the price I have to pay for putting them in near proximity. A lot of gardening is compromise.

Mine are under an oak tree. The nearby raspberries are loving it.  There is no need to be in a sunny place, the heat is generated by bacterial decomposition . One I filled with bramble shreddings last week is currently 55C.
