Self-clinging climber ID?

SmallcopperSmallcopper Posts: 34
Hello,
I found this plant in my garden today clinging to the fence panel, hidden behind another I was cutting back. Not something I planted (previous owners might have) so wonder if anyone could help with an ID please? Thank you very much :)

That looks like Parthenocissus quinquefolia aka Virginia Creeper

My first thought was Pathenocissus henryana but  not sure. Not enough leaflets??

Virginia Creeper, very vigorous when it gets going.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Thank you! I would like climbers on the fence eventually, but I don't think virginia creeper is the right plant for this space, so will take out.
