Storing tulips, hyacinth and muscari
I have taken the tulips out of 2 large tubs and shaken the earth off. I can leave them in the empty wood store to dry off a little more before putting them in a cardboard box in the shed until October? I was thinking of just putting all the hyacinth into one large trug with fresh compost and leaving that out of the way in the log store too and then bringing it out and watering it in October ready bloom in winter. Muscari I think I’ll leave as they are in the pots and just tuck them out of the way. What do you all do please? Ps will mice nibble the bulbs if left exposed in the baskets in the log store? X

Hyacinths don't need storing either, if they're in the right conditions - well drained soil and some food as they die back. A place where they won't get hammered by excess rainfall for over winter is best.
It'll depend on the type of tulips as to what you do. Many aren't reliable returnees. I mainly grow species ones which are perennial and will multiply. If you're going to store them it's better to feed the a few times as they die back, to give them a chance for next year.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
