Allergy on face and neck

After a (late in the day) of attaching a purple clematis, planting an apple tree and moving a yellow jasmine, my face and neck and chest are beet red and have stayed like that for days.  It is not a sunburn.  I have no rash on my hands and arms and did not wear gloves.  No trouble breathing.
Anyone know?

Could be anything, garden related or not. Think your GP would be able to advise you better.

Or the pharmacist if you can't see your GP fast enough.   Could be anything but I'd expect a plant rash to appear on your hands and arms too so what else was in the garden/in the atmposphere/in your moisturiser?

Doctor, phamacist or google.  But start with just the symptoms; "allergy" sounds like you vave already come to some conclusion.

Do you have trouble with pollen in spring @faithpsillas ? Tree pollen at this time of year in some areas can be tricky.

  • I garden all the time and have never had a reaction like this.  My skincare routine is the same.  The clematis is the only new thing I came in contact with.  Its such a weird “burn” but even behind my ears so not possible for sun and there was no wind.  It came upon suddenly and that night had a horrible headache.  Thanks all

Is there a minor injuries unit near you? Will often offer same day appointments and you can get checked out by a nurse, and directed on to a doctor if needed.

Hope you're ok @faithpsillas - maybe A&E is the answer, or as @Ergates suggests.

I'm not aware of clematis causing any problems so I doubt it's that. Very odd.
