What kind of shield bug is this?

There are lots of these wee chaps (or chap-esses?) on one of my verbascums today. Sorry it's a bit blurry (clearly the phone camera wanted to focus on the leaf).
There was also this one on a nearby lupin, which I think is a common green shield bug?  Is the first one maybe a juvenile form of the same thing?

Thanks @LG_ , that looks like it. These ones didn't read the textbook though - apparently they're supposed to live mainly on plants in the rose family.

Thanks @floralies . Apparently that's the same as @LG_ 's Sloe Bug. Nothing I looked at said they like verbascums, but they certainly like this one. I counted 20 before I gave up because they wouldn't sit still! Now if only they ate aphids.......

My book says that they like certain plants in the potager as well but doesn't specify which ones!
