Apricot tree problem

We moved into a house last year with what we thought was a mature plum tree but is actually an apricot tree, must be over 20 years old, however this spring one half of the tree seems to be doing badly, crispy leaves with brown spots that fall off before full size. Any ideas?

I don't know as my young apricot tree has yet to show any problems but maybe the info on this link will help if you look at cultivation info and then scroll down to prblems -
