Hibiscus

Just picked up a cheap Hibiscus from Aldi in what looks about a 3 litre pot.
Will this need potting into a larger pot soon? Also am I right in thinking these need cutting back when young to encourage bushiness ... if so when?
Thanks ....

Are you going to keep it in a pot or plant it out?   The blue ones are usually this form  - https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/85323/hibiscus-syriacus-blue-bird/details Cultivation details included in the link.

Roots showing at the bottom will tell you it needs planting out or potting on.  Pinching out the shoot tips with your thumbnail will make it bush out and can be repeated as needed.

  • It will stay in a pot, I'm on top of an old quarry so the soil is only inches thick  .... most things are in pots and containers .... wasn't sure if it was a suitable long term plant for a container, but took the chance as it was cheap  ..... thanks for your link and help ...

    It looks so beautiful.
For a few days, I was looking for someone to write my paper for me at a low cost and came across the https://samedaypapers.com/write-my-paper-for-me-cheap/ website link.
