Hello all, hope someone can help. In my garden I have this largish (12foot) tree. It has these odd shaped fruits/flowers on it. Can anyone identify it for me? All the best DW.

    My thought too.

Hello all. located in london, just looked up pocket plum & looks more or less the same, so thanks to all for your time. The fruits must be left over from last year as its far too early for plums yet.

Not last year's plum, this year's flowers were affected by a fungus and created these galls

Thats amazing how quickly those galls have grown to the size they are so early in the year. Thanks for the interesting info.
