Bee Balm (Bergamot) stems breaking off
in Fruit & veg
Hello forum, does anyone have experience of growing bee balm in pots. Year 2 I have lovely healthy new stems about 15cms high, its been breezy today and some have come clean off at the base just above the soil line. No mildew or bugs in sight. One has come off with a couple of tiny roots, another was bone dry and woody yet very healthy. I hoped that putting the stems in water would revive them for propagating but they're drooping. Do they need support steaks or fertiliser?
