Dahlia Leaves Changing Appearance

Alfie_Alfie_ Posts: 456
Hi,

Does anyone know why one particular dahlia's leaves have changed:

Growth is nice and sturdy. Leaves were immaculate before. It has been outside for over 2 weeks now. No frosts have occured. I haven't watered it as there has been rainfall over the last 2 weeks. None of the others seem to be doing this.

I don’t think it is the answer, but they certainly should have been watered. Pots rarely get enough water from rain, and Dahlias are in a fast growth stage.

If it's in compost, it probably doesn't have enough nutrition in it. Many of them are poor, so it may be needing moved on into something better.
I still have to water plants with a lot of foliage cover if they're potted, and we've had a rain free spell, which we have had recently.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
