Is it ok to move Viburnum Kilimanjaro that has only been planted 2 weeks?

We recently planted a large Viburnum Kilimanjaro into our new garden about 2 weeks ago.  We’ve now decided it’s not in the right place and need to move it. It’s now in flower.  Will it be ok and what can we do to make the move as less stressful as possible?

Yes  - it'll be fine.  Just make sure it's  been watered, get the new site prepped, and take time to ensure you're getting the whole root ball out. Water well afterwards and then go from there  :)
I've often moved plants in flower, even if they've been planted a long time. If you take the necessary steps, they don't notice.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Many thanks for this - it’s great to have reassurance!

Good luck with it - I'm sure it'll be fine, as long as you do all the right things, especially after re siting it  :)
