I have an old geranium and I'm going bonkers trying to remember the name of it. It's hardy, intense blue, mound forming. Only flowers once a year for about a month. I remember finding its surname slightly amusing.
@B3 That looks lovely! Does yours self seed everywhere or is it relatively well behaved? I'm currently getting rid of a self seeding menace but want to replace with other shade lovers in blue and / or white. Thanks for the link @AnniD, some lovely ones there.
@Poppypuss. No they don't self seed but they are really easy to divide or break a bit off the edge and plant. Mine are in full sun dry clay. I don't think they're the type that do well in shade.

Ah ok I think that’s probably true if most blue ones but I’ve spotted some white ones which may be fine for me. Thanks
There are many more happy in shade. I don't know about the colour. If you fancy a blast of deep blue for a few weeks in the summer. This is the one for you. @Poppypuss
