Hi all, my lawn is in bad shape. Please see the attached photos. After cutting there are lots of ant mounds and you can see the mix of grass in my hand. How can I get rid of the ant mounds and get pure grass growing instead of this mix? Thanks.

That’s only moss in your hand,  our grass is like that every year,  so we do the usual,  scarify, get rid of as much as possible then use iron sulphate,  it won’t kill the worms but they’ll clear off somewhere else.
It will all be back again after next winter.
