Is my Griselina dying?

Hi everyone, novice here!

I have planted 20 Griselina about 6 weeks ago and the leaves are going brown. Does this mean they are dying? Should I cut dead  bits off and feed the remaining plants?

Any help would be greatly appreciated 😀

Water not feed. The ground looks bone dry, so a really thorough watering, then a mulch of something like bark will help to retain that. Then stay vigilant until autumn with the watering   :)
6 weeks is no time at all - it takes many months for hedging to establish, and then thrive. If the prep is right, that helps too. Soil needs to be in good condition for anything to do well, especially planting at the end of spring.  :)

Is it just one plant that's browning or all of them?  Any new hedging plant needs plenty of water while the roots are getting established. Your soil does look on the dry side.  I'd give the plants a good watering so that the soil is moist but not waterlogged and then top the soil with an organic mulch to help to retain moisture, keeping the soil moist by regular watering.  They are quite large plants so will require plenty of water to establish.  Browning leaves and stems are symptoms of dehydration.  I would remove the worst affected stems, cutting down to a viable green bud on each browned stem. They are pretty tough plants so should bounce back with some TLC!
    Wirral. Sandy, free draining soil.
