Hungry Mouths To Feed

A family of Great Tits in one of my birdboxes. She layed 7 eggs a few weeks ago and now alot of hungry mouths to feed. The Footage ain't great & the sounds gone, the camera is faulty and i have a new cam to fit but she took ownership before i could fit it. Nature is so ace, i keep checking on my phone like a concerned dad lol.

She might need some help in the form of live mealworms. The moth season is very slow starting this year and not a lot of caterpillars about.

I have two nest boxes in my garden occupied by blue tits. For the last month I have been putting out live mini mealworms for them. I have another pair of tits that are nesting elsewhere constantly visiting one of the feeders too, some days I struggle to keep them full.

I buy 500g bags of min mealworms from here..

I use Jacobi Jayne ILR-PF Clear Hanging Bird Feeders from Amazon £12.99
