Tulip care

Now that my tulips are coming to an end, is there anything I can do to ensure they show again next year? I've heard that they're not as good as the first year?

    Feed a few times as they die down. It depends on the variety as to whether they return reliably.
    The botanical/species ones do, and will multiply if in the right conditions.
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    @Ryan180680 Do you know the names of your tulips? You may get help from other gardeners who have grown the same variety.
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
