Allium leaves

My alliums are about to flower and the leaves look spent already. Is it ok to remove them?

If they are completely brown, yes. If not, they are needed to feed the bulb.

  • Thank you, that’s what I thought.

@Super gardener Allium leaves always start to die back as they flower. You could grow them through hardy geraniums. Lots of different ones for sun, you should be able to disguise the leaves and let them die back naturally.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.
  • Thank you most are through geraniums but just some that are not- I’ll give them a bit longer to brown further and then tidy them.
