    Calendula, also known as pot marigold (because the flowers are edible, apparently).
    Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

    A named variety tho I think as they are not the "basic" calendula.  Make a nice bright splash tho - quite cheered me up @nishaabraham :D

    One of my favourite flowers because it's the first one I ever noticed. I'm the green sheep of the family. No other gardeners.

    It was my mum who sent me the picture actually, she spotted them on a walk and wanted to know what they were :smiley:
