I wouldn't have thought they'd be problematic, but it's not possible to grow them outside here, and would need to be potted and brought inside, so I certainly can't say one way or the other. However, that's an interesting item @Plantminded! I wonder whether the locations and climates make a big difference - as with many plants? In ideal conditions, lots of plants are highly invasive. Perhaps a barrier in the ground would be the best solution @Grayfleur, and if they get a bit too thuggish you can just remove them, but maybe not put the near the house....
Hi! Thank you for this. I should have said, we're in a very mild climate. After reading the comments I'm not going to risk planting them in the ground next to a building, which is the only space I can think of to put them. I'll just have to find bigger pots! Thanks again.
