Uses for unused hearing aid cases?

Every time I get a new NHS hearing aid I get a very nice hard shell plastic box to keep them in.
Just wondering if anyone can think of a use for them as I now have 3 (2 aids fit in 1 box).
I must check on recycling but they seem too good not to use for something.
To buy something similar can cost up to £10.
Earphones seems obvious but any other ideas for reusing?

A little snack box to go in your handbag?
  • From your photos there doesn’t look to be all that much space inside when the lid is closed so maybe you could keep a couple of extra-strong mints in there ?  How about spare change for pay and display machines ?  A couple of little soap bars like you get from hotels ?

I have industrial quantities of glasses cases. How about them?

I reuse the older glasses cases because they're a nice size and the new ones are always enormous so my petite specs rattle around in them. I put the new cases  in the charity shop bag. I don't actually know whether they can sell them but maybe someone will pay a few pence for them.

  • I believe, @JennyJ , a lot of second hand cases go for casing the used spectacles donated through opticians' shops.
