    I think that’s Willow herb. The one with the small pink flowers. 🙄

    Bugger! Thank you @Dovefromabove. The penstemon that was in the area must be dead. I thought it looked robust, shall we say.

    I think I've been cosseting one too @B3 so you aren't the only one. Thought I was potting on some gaura seedlings. 4 correctly, one a cuckoo!

    I remember my mother lovingly watering a row of statice seedlings with precious water from our water tank, only for them to turn into dandelions. She was gutted!
