Clever people, could you identify this please

It's growing in a shady spot, about 2 feet tall, difficult to see,it's all tangled in other plants. The flowers are a really intense bright blue,not purple that's my phone camera. Thank you.

    I have this plant in my garden. For me it's a good doer in areas where not much else survives but it can be a thug - spreading and rooting where stems touch the ground.

    It's fine in the spot where I have it but when I bought it I was advised that it was a plant that needs to have a large patch where it can be left to do it's own thing. Not one for a tidy border.

    Beth Chatto has it growing in a woodland border with anemones popping through - looks lovely.

    Thanks. Things that are meant to be thugs.... like Japanese anemone never ever spread in my garden!!
