Euphorbia Wulfenii Pruning - No seedlings??

I normally get a good number of euphorbia seedings each year, which I want. However, I have been wondering if pruning out the flowers once they are starting to go over would mean there will not be any seedlings? I did experiment last year and pruned off the flower stems however I still seemed to get seedlings. Whats going on here??

If you cut off the flowers before they form seeds and shed those seeds, you won't get any seedlings.

  • I guess it must have shed the seeds before I pruned it. Perhaps I need to visit specsavers!
