Tulip bulbs

I have just come across a pack of Tulip bulbs which I forgot to plant, Can I plant them now? If so what is the best way to do them, please?

    They might grow, the chances get less with every day that passes. Plants don't go for too long in a bag. Just dig a hole and put them in it. Tulips are usually planted quite deeply but I don't think I'd do that, if they grow you can plant them deeper in the Autumn
