Hotbin help

I would really appreciate help with my hotbin.  I've had it for three years and have yet to get it to work as it should.  Initially I faithfully followed the instructions, but with no success.  Subsequent attempts have similarly failed. I have a regular cold compost three-bay system but liked the idea of a quicker (6 month) system as well.   I wish I had saved my money!  Has anyone any tips please?
