Geranium ID

Hi,

Can anybody tell me if this geranium variety is a weed or not. I have some of the hedgerow ones that grow in the lawn (nightmare to get rid of) that make it into a few borders. I didn’t plant this geranium below so either previous owners did or it’s a weed geranium:

    That looks like a garden type to me. 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    I agree with Dove - more likely to be a 'proper' plant than a weed🙂

    Keep an eye on it, let it flower and if you like it, keep it. If you don't like it or you think it looks more like a weed when in flower, then take it out before it goes to seed.

    Maybe Geranium macrorrhizum?
