I like rusted metal ornaments, this is the most recent addition (in case you're wondering, they're poppy seedheads, soon to be swamped by a fern!):

We’ve got many, probably too many

My pen name on this forum used to be Picidae

One final thing which I hope is not contentious but I have been mulling it for a little time, if you’re not a practising Buddhist is a stone statue of Buddha cultural appropriation?

    OK - I confess - I do have another......
But he's well-hidden and facing due east :)

I'm not generally very keen on garden ornaments, and most of my garden is at the front of the house and visible from the street so anything expensive would probably get stolen sooner or later :(. I do like the cat on @BenCotto 's roof, and @M33R4 's Easter Island head.

I've spoken to Buddhists in Thailand who find it offensive that images of Buddha are used as garden ornaments.

I do like garden statues/ornaments, but I think there's a fine line between tasteful and tat. Less is more I believe and suitably placed. However, anything that causes a smile is always welcome.

Interesting thoughts on the Buddha ones.

I just have a couple, which I will soon be sneaking out of my ex partner's garden. 😅

M33R4 I love your Easter Island Head. I've been after one for years but the only ones I've found have silly smirks on their faces, defenately not like the real thing.
