Hedge garlic Alliaria petiolata

Also known as Hedge Mustard or Jack by the Hedge.

The main food plant of the caterpillar of the gorgeous Orange tip butterfly.

It’s also edible for us too. A few of the younger leaves in a salad or in an egg sandwich gives a slightly garlicky mustardy taste 😋
