Amaryllis

Hi hope everyone is ok. My first year growing an amaryllis. Now the flowers have gone and I have been told to cut the stem down but before I do there are these two things on the top. Do these have seeds in, are they useful,  but I do appreciate this was grown from a bulb.

In my opinion , developing seed pods are a waste of time . Cut the expired flower stalk to base but retain the leaves as these feed the bulb for next year .
If you're very patient they will grow from seed ; I once grew Eucomis bicolor from seed and they took between 5-7 years to attain flowering size ! :o
